We have two things in common, so far. I have a Collie and I lived in Pa. up until 1999, when we moved to Delaware. I read your older post about you having to have your faithful friend put down, mine will turn eleven in March and I dread what will come all to soon. Already he is getting lumps, which the Vet says are cysts, but I fear the worst. Before I got Sergei(that's his name) I had three other Collies all at once, a Tri(Shilo),Sable(Seth) and Blue Merel(Shadow), I lost them all in a little over a year's time, so I know and have lived your sorrow. My girlfriend was a breeder, she lived in Hegins Valley, but had to give it up because of a divorce. I loved spending time with her and her dogs. I'll have to look it up, but I believe some of my Collie's have come from the same blood line as yours. Stop by my blog when you get the chance, I have pictures of them on there and my dog Seth looked very much like the dog your holding in the picture.<BR/><BR/>Nice to meet you.<BR/>'D'jerseygirl211https://www.blogger.com/profile/02779277033859767629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3876634999390337785.post-5777065844304592932009-01-15T11:17:00.000-08:002009-01-15T11:17:00.000-08:00Thanks for commenting on my blog. You don't want a repeat of what you went through with that problem last summer (or was it in 2007 - I lose track!), with the menigital worm. But if you have it fenced it, the deer won't go in there, right?Aletahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02682565517324544381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3876634999390337785.post-39979355354998090762009-01-12T05:09:00.000-08:002009-01-12T05:09:00.000-08:00The deer pose a problem because they can give the ...The deer pose a problem because they can give the goats a menigital worm that affects their central nervous system. The goats either ingest deer droppings containing a slug that feasted on the deer droppings or the goats ingest a slug who has been dining on deer feces. But I believe the deer only pass through there, they bed down & their droppings I see are on down in the woods. It would be nice to have the goats brush clean that area.phyllisotiptoethruphylsgarden.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10617828571094245723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3876634999390337785.post-35997578140653873282009-01-11T21:00:00.000-08:002009-01-11T21:00:00.000-08:00It's nice to see a picture of the pups again.
