Hummingbird moth,clearwing moth

The first time I saw these insects was years ago,in Sept.,a "flock"of all white ones with red tails were all over the butterfly bush.I`ve never seen a white clear winged one again.
I believe this is the first I`ve seen them on anything BUT butterfly bushes.He sure was drinking deeply into the impatiens.
