My husband,12/17/1950- 5/18/2014
My husband lost his battle on Sunday ,5-18-14.He died at home here.I will write more later. We were married for 40 years.I miss him so bad.
I also send my deepest condolences to you dearest Phyllis. No words from us can help to heal your heart and feelings of loss. But we know your husband is no longer in physical pain and suffering and he is free. May that thought and the knowledge of your long and sustaining relationship help to keep you in comfort over the coming weeks and months. Hugs. xx
Dearest Phyllis, I am so saddened to read that your beautiful husband has lost his battle. I cannot imagine the pain you are facing, only that I am able to send sincere and heartfelt condolences, to you and your family. Your husband is no longer hurting, and is at peace, in that we have to take comfort. {Hugs} sweet friend. ~Jo
He is free and at peace now. I know you will miss him terribly. He was a good man and I enjoyed his friendship along with yours. Be good to yourself; take time to mourn. Let your friends and family give you strength, and remember that you are loved. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
I am heartbroken for you and I am so sorry for your loss. I just cannot imagine what are gone through. You are in my prayers sweet lady. Big big hugs, Julie
Please accept my condolences; my heart breaks with you. Dave, my husband, died at home 11/5/11 and life changed forever. It's a daily struggle...not just life but the grief can be overwhelming and, like C. S. Lewis said of Joy, "her death is the sky and covers everything." That's how I feel about Dave; it's been "this long" and it's still painful. There are days and weeks that are shattering in intensity, then there are days and weeks that are bearable. It takes as long as it takes and cannot be rushed. God is able and I remind myself (and Him) daily of His promises. Thank you for visiting Thistle Cove Farm and for leaving a comment. I cannot comment to your kind note because you're set to "no reply". Thus, this lengthy comment. God bless you, daily and, especially at night.
