Wild Bird Wed.Red-bellied woodpecker
Two young cooper hawks have been hunting together over my property here in the woods & all the birds are on high alert, especially this red-bellied today. The picture of the hawk is poor, they are so fast I couldn`t get a good shot. To share your own wild birds, go to this link. http://paying-ready-attention-gallery.blogspot.com/
Since I live in the city (Montreal, Canada), I don't often get to see these birds. Your photos are fantastic, so beautiful to see! Your header is stunning! :) Thank you so much for sharing.
Cute shots of the woodpecker, and I like all your sidebar pets. I once had an angora rabbit, the fur is amazing, and sometimes she would leave fur on the carpet as well.
Love the red-bellied woody! And the Cooper's too, though I hate they are having a field day with the birds! The ones who visited my yard didn't attack anything. It was pretty fascinating. But they are gone now.

Great birds and images. I love the Redbellied woodie! Enjoy your day!
Love the pics! I saw a male & female cardinal in my birdbath this morning; first ones I've ever seen in my yard.
Beautiful shots!
Really fund birds to see!

Love the hawk photos, and of course, the woodpecker. I have a few of them, and the downies and hairys...
I'm very fond of red-bellied woodpeckers!
