I had a tarp tied to the goats barn roof & martin bird pole to give the goats some relief & on Sun.with all that wind & rain,the cemented in pole took off with some of the roof.I can`t upright it myself so I don`t know how it happenned.The wind was really bad.I thought we were going to have to build an ark with the amt.of rainfall we got.

There is a blog called Get Yer Goat...this lady had a tarp and it collapsed under the weight of the snow. Her goat, Cupid, died. We now put plywood over the top and screw it down before we put the tarp on. I had problems last year with rain and the tarp.
One year the tarp worked really good but when we put the barn up we had to take it down & I can`t seem to get it right anymore.There was alot of water collected in there,I removed the water but it rainned crazy that night.But that is an excellant idea.I`m glad you mentioned in your blog about burying the cable spools for them to play on.I was too dumb to think about doing that.We want to get them some.They have a little tykes slide now they like.phylliso
