Heat Wave

It is unbearable here in Pa.We did get some rain last night.I brought the bunnies inside to stay all night.Now I have a mess to clean up.I took them back out this am,but am likely to have to bring them back in later.I don`t want to shear them till the end of Aug.It`s just too hot for them with their angora coats to be out.

There is a pair of those birds that are unknown to me,instead of just one.I will get on the bird forum today.They remind me of a mockingbird,the white markings on their wings & tails,but their face is like a grosbeaks.They could be babies of some sort who haven`t developed all of their colors.
The bluebird stopped in for a bath yesterday again.
Simba & Cloud are best friends.Simba has no nails on the front paws,so swatting Cloud didn`t harm him.The cat is unsure of what the rabbit is.I gave Cloud the run of the bathroom last night.I kept Ginger & Dori together in a cage.
I have not seen the baby red-bellied since "mom" "yelled"at him.She is a regular vistor at the feeder though.

Cloud

Well,I guess his name will be Cloud.My friend,Tina,thought of the name.He does look like a big cloud puff.I baracaded the kitchen & bath today from the dogs so Cloud could get some running around time in.I thought I got his picture with the bloggie,but was surprised to find that there`s no pictures on it.I don`t know what happenned.But he loves Simba & Simba loves to be with him too.Of course I watch when they are together,I can`t say that they play,but I assume that they will as both are gentle with each other & like each other`s company.I have only heard Cloud sneeze once today.I moved him from the living room to the kitchen yesterday.There is less going on there at night.I go to bed early,but dh stays up & smokes in the living room after I go in my room to sleep.He smokes outside during the day as I can`t handle it.I don`t think Cloud can handle it either.Rabbits can have trouble with smoke,so,hopefully that is what it is.I`m hoping to not have to clip him till the end of the month.
Here are some pictures I took of the blooms outside today.I love blues & purples in a garden,it seems to create a sense of peace.The roses are beginning to bloom too.

I`m in love again

I love this new member of our family.He does not have a name yet.I`m getting him a girlfriend later & she does not have a name yet either.My neighbor insists they should be named Prince Will & Kate.I was thinking of George...but at any rate,I met Sherry today & picked up this german angora rabbit.She is soooo nice,I recommend her if you are from the Pa./Md.area & are interested in this beautiful fiber.She does have someone drive the rabbits around to buyers too,I believe,to further away states.She can be found at this link http://www.theangorarabbit.com/

Here are some pics.I let him get settled while the dh & I went out for supper,then I allowed him out of his coop to run around in the grass inside the fence with me.He is just so sweet.I love the smell of animals,I`m just wierd that way.He was born in Jan.He will get much bigger.
