Hornets Nest

These nests always amaze me.I`ve walked by this several times & never saw it,but the way the light was sitting on the blue spruce caught my eye.This is wild bird Wed.,I was searching for birds,came away with nothing new,so am posting this amazing nest instead.The work that goes into the making of it just blows my mind.Look at how it looks like an alien head,the hornets are coming out of its eye....creepy!!!!

We went to get hay from Cathleen & Lamar the other evenning,& this time I remembered to grab my camera,even tho it was starting to get dark ,I did get these shots of the ever growing hornet`s nest,it is amazing.
