For Lori at the doctor`s office

I had my son at the doctor`s today,& Lori who works there whom I recently discovered that I worked with her mom in nursing, wondered if I took the pictures on facebook she sees.I said some of them, but I`ll blog some so you can see if they are on here.Alot of times people are too busy to click on a link which shows up on facebook..I haven`t written for awhile,& also found that I couldn`t comment on some other blogs,so I need to start getting involved with it again. It keeps my mind fertile, this blogging we do...

Butterflies

The Joe Pye Weed is beginning to bloom & so is the milkweed,so butterflies are starting to appear more.
I buy wildflower seeds from a place in Texas, called wildflower seeds. They sell in bulk,I have alot of luck with just scattering them in the spring.I want to create a place filled with grasses & wildflowers that I won`t mow.I had begun that, but when I got the goats, that pretty much fell through as they like to browse.I do fully intend to still do that though.

Flowers and goats and garden treasures

Sharing pics of cukes & squash from our garden, there is more work down there to be picked.
We haven`t had alot of monarch butterflies yet,but took some of a skipper & another kind.
I tied the goats out some, then let the brothers loose to follow me but they wanted to head into the flowers,so I quickly called for them to get grain, which they ran towards the barn doing the happy dance I call it.I will have to video them doing the "happy dance".They look like a fish coming out of water, shaking their heads & bodies different ways.

Before and After and More Blooms

A picture I took back in March is the before pic where I cut all the bee balm down finally, then the today picture of what it looks like now.I let the seeds on the bee balm all winter, then scatter them in the spring.Sometimes the birds will take them somewhere & plant them.
The pole beans in the garden even have a pretty orange bloom on them.
I lied about the lavender bee balm, some of it is in bloom now too.
