Robin Snow or Onion Snow

There is a folklore about the snows that fall right before spring in Pa.I can remember my grandmother talking about the robin snow,it`s the snow that falls after the first robin`s song in the spring,it meant that we`d have 2 more snows.
There`s also the onion snow.It is the snow that falls right when the garden onions are sprouting.
I don`t know which we had,but we had 6 inches of the awful stuff again during the night.
Maggie loves to stick her face way down in it.

I want spring so badly this year. Usually I am a winter person, but this year I've had sun deprivation, and it has been a hard winter for me. But the snow is still beautiful!
