Today is world bird Wed.I`m showing the northern mockingbird.I`m always surprised to see the bird in the yard,I never see him unless I put out fruit or in the fall when they eat berries from the burning bush.Go over to the springman`s world bird Wed.to enter your backyard bird today,it`s alot of fun to see all the different kinds of birds around the world http://worldbirdwednesday.blogspot.com/World Bird Wed.
These are pictures from exactly last year with that horrible feeder I finally threw away.

Your Mockingbird is a beauty Phyllis. Can I also say many thanks for your very kind remarks about my sons wedding. It really was a very proud day for me.

Love your Mockingbirds Phyllis!
I put out orange halves which I push on nails I have hammered into a two by six board to attract Baltimore orioles in the spring. This is not only a ugly feeder but a dangerous one to boot!

I really enjoy Mockingbirds whenever I get to see them. They don't visit my yard but I get to see them here and there in town and it's always a treat. Did your Mocker sing for you Phyllis?

Nice shots of the Mockingbird. I see them down in the valley, but I've never seen a Mockingbird up on our ridge.
