Baby Bunnies

Dori had 3 baby bunnies yesterday,2 dark colored ones & one "pink"as Savannah calls it.Dori had pulled the largest black one out & we held it,but it was obvious by bedtime the bunny had died.We put the bunny in a shoebox &kept it inside till the morning; Savannah at 5 years of age helped me bury her first pet.
The bunnies are born deaf, blind,& furless. In 10-12 days their eyes should open. They are all in my kitchen!Including Ginger, who appears to be pregnant, but hasn`t given birth yet.Mon.I will get her to a vet if she hasn`t delivered to make sure everything is ok.Dori gave birth in 31 days. This would be Ginger`s 33rd day if she is .

Phyllis,
I am so sorry about the loss of that Bunny Baby. sad. I hope the other two will thrive and do well for you. I wish we lived closer, I'd like to learn about keeping Bunnies and spinning. they are just beautiful. Hugs, Robin

I'm also sorry about the loss of the precious little one. Mother Nature and Mother Bunnies do seem to know what may be best, don't they? I hope the others arrive safely and all goes well! Take care!!
