Mr.Curley Eared

My blog needs a new look.I have so many cats now there is not enough of space to put them on the side bars. The good news is,I found homes for 3 as I rescued them.I have taken my son`s 3 who came from the farm, as he is working on the house, putting up new drywall,& was afraid they would get stuck in the wall somewhere.I sigh when I think I will probably have them forever.
Anyhow,I took 3 over for booster shots last week,& Mr.Curley Eared is the only long haired cat,& he was getting matted,he was 1 of the 3.The vet-again,not the usual vet I ask for-they were only getting a shot!-so I thought,oh well, just get the next available appt.that they have & get it done as I have the last kitten who needs spaded & declawed on the front & want everyone else done with before I concentrate on her care.I didn`t listen to my inner voice again. The vet suggested the groomer on site do him today if she had time.I said, alright, knowing my inner voice is telling me that he is not going to like this lion cut they are suggesting, but I ignored that voice of mine again-what is wrong with me?! I get home-the vet is 20 min.away,& the groomer is on the answering machine saying that he went limp on them & they had to get the vet to come over...I went flying back to the vets, scared to death & he was fine, but when I took him in my arms,he wrapped all of his 14 lbs.about my head.Poor baby.
And yes,he is sniffing my pasta with shrimp & scallops I bought from Cuz.Bob today, love his fresh seafood now that I can`t go fishing myself this year.Cuz.Bob asked me if I was on route 81 "the other day",he thought he saw me going down the highway & I said no,I don`t go anywhere anymore, but after I came home & thought about it,yes,I was ,with my friend,Cathleen,to Clearspring ,Md. last week, haven`t posted it yet.I`m losing my mind I believe.

Poor baby. I guess some cats actually like being shaved, but it doesn't sound like Mr. Curly Ear did. Probably thought he'd come to the end of the line. He is a pretty boy though even with his new 'do. Have you tried the Furminator --it actually does work quite well on the long haired kitties and keeps the mats at bay.
