Bluejay

The bluejays were scolding alot today.I heard the hawk hunting,but could not see him.When I drove to & from the Fayetteville fire company to buy our take home kraut dinners today,the hawk ,well,A hawk,was along route 30 high on a wire.I wish I had brought my camera,he was there for a couple of hours as I drove back into town,he was still there. Nice pics!
We see the bluejays occasionally in the winter; in the spring/summer they are frequent visitors to our feeder and we put peanuts in the shell out for them. It is fun to watch them pick one up and fly away with it.
