Hummingbird Moth & Other Critters

The first hummingbird moth this year that I`ve seen was yesterday, also I saw our turtle again creeping through the grass.I wouldn`t have seen it but for Bandit alerting me.
I saw a groundhog from our kitchen window,so it is not a good picture, but he appears to be old,as gray as he is.I`m surprised he survived our neighbor who shoots at everything.
The butterflies seen here were mating I guess, usually when they spiral upwards, the one butterfly doesn`t want the other, but these were in the grass together.

Lovely pictures - love that turtle!
I separate my roving in to thin strips and pre draft - I think it definitely makes it easier.

I love Hummingbird Moths and Box Turtles. The Turtle has gorgeous colors, the female BTs probably think he is pretty handsome. Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures. You really have an "eye" for it!
