The Writing On A Tree

I went for a long walk alone this am,trying to find answers to my questions to God.It was a peaceful walk,no dogs along.I kicked up a deer along the way.I found trees with faces on...,3 trees holding up a fallen tree, much like we as people hope to be able to do with our families & friends, neighbors even. There was a tree with "writing' on it,if I only knew what it said...,new growth in the forest too.

Those are worm lines under the bark....according to my hubby. We had those on our aspens.

Always we have questions and it's hard to see or understand clearly when we are bombarded on all sides by busyness, life and needs. Going out walking by myself, as you did, helps to clear my head and try and get prespective. I sometimes still have questions, but at least I feel calmer. I love the 'writing' on the tree. Thanks for sharing.

Even the worm trails have a message: slow down and keep things simple. I think nature has so much to teach us if we only will be open to learning. I love to go for walks, too, to think about problems and clear my head.

Thanks! Hopefully some day soon I'll have my own studio and can make more things like that. :)
I love that second photo where the tree has a face. It looks strikingly similar to some trees in a video game I play. :9

Sometimes it's finding the right question to ask that is harder than finding the answer.

Happy New Year, and all the best for 2009.
