Growing In The Greenhouse

The greenhouse is filling with plants, mostly veg.plants.I have baby bear pumpkins, different kinds of squash, watermelons, all kinds of cukes, peppers, cabbage, crenshaw melons,& at last count I have over 140 tomato plants!! I will give alot away this year. The flowers I planted are mostly the sort I can dye the fiber with.I planted marigolds, hollyhocks, celoisa.I am having trouble with impatiens, don`t know if it is because it takes so long for them to germinate or not.The same with the wave petunias,I`ve had no luck.My tiny bell petunias from last year are blooming though.I have many nastriums planted & morning glories.
I plan to keep all of those cups & just wrap the plants in newspaper. They will be going to family & friends.Maybe next year when I know more about what I`m doing I will sell.I have a name picked out already,Fern Grotto Flowers & Fiber....

You have really been busy. The greenhouse looks wonderful an the growing plants a sign of spring...which we have missed....You have a green thumb. I was wondering what you were up to with that greenhouse of yours. You have been so busy I didn't know if you'd find time for plantings.....but....you squeezed it in. Did your little grand daughter help?????

No!! I let her help outside in the garden, she did plant up a pansy for her mom,& the grandson planted up a plant for his mom too in the greenhouse, but under the supervision of their father.
Is you address still the same?I`m almost done with Penelope`s sister.phylliso.

Wow - all those tomato plants! I have 8 and I thought THAT was a lot! Ha! Speaking of plants for dying, a friend of ours has indigo plants growing. You use the roots for indigo dye. I never knew where indigo came from, but now I do.
