Finally....

Finally today the deer came in before dark.Last night they were here after dark. They seem more trusting. The one neighbor is not home, probably went to Florida for a week or more as he is the last home back here,& no one has been coming & going.

Oooh they are lovely...
I looked out of the window late this afternoon and spooted seven of them, eating the new green grass where the snow had blanketed for most of the past week.
I miss them when they stay in the woods.
Great pictures !

Phyllis do you feed them? My sister had them in her yard in Connecticut in the winter and she said they ate her landscaping. I always wanted her to feed them. She thought I was nuts. I love them and would make them all in to bums. Hugs, Robin

Yes,I put shelled corn out for them. The squirrels eat the corn too,as well as the bluejays.Sometimes a guy brings my neighbor & us apples, they love red delicious the best!but he didn`t get any this year. They will eat my hostas & roses, but they haven`t done that for awhile. We are blessed to be able to look out the window & watch them sometimes. The littest one was back this am,cleaning up every last crumb.I put more down just now, guess they know the storm is coming here soon,we are to get alot of snow today & tomorrow.phylliso

Ah, deer. We always have a parade of them, munching across our yard, every night. They are surely beautiful, and can eat a big rose bush in full bloom in no time at all!

But they are still beautiful, and I love seeing them. Our dog? Not so much. But they ignore him!
