The deer had to dig for the corn tonite. What is it with me catching the animals with their tongues hanging out lately?

Phyllis, These snow pictures are magical. They are so beautiful. You have a ton of snow!! We have just a dusting of it. We also have robins-in fact we have them every year here-probably because of the lake's effect on the temps, lots of food-when people say they're back they look at me like I'm nuts when I say nope-they never left! You must have felt like a pioneer when you were shut in because of lots of snow! I can't WAIT for spring. I've really got the itch for it.
Love, Debra

I can`t wait for spring either. At least the carolina wrens we love so much are now starting to sing.
Someday I will blog about how we were shut in for 4 days without electric here.I cooked on our woodstove. It was kinda fun.
I believe we got about 20 inches of snow. They are calling for another snow storm Tues.I have to keep telling myself, only 40 something days now till spring.phylliso
