Haitian Pastor

We had a pastor from Haiti speak briefly at our service yesterday. He was a short man{I thought most Haitians were tall} & his face beamed with hope as he thanked our church for all we have done over there. They still need tents .They have used all that everyone has sent. They are trying to be sure everyone who suffered losing a limb or still in ill health have a tent especially.
He said everyone felt Haiti belonged to the devil. He expected God to intervene, but certainly not in this way, however, this tragedy has brought people from all over the world who care & have a love for Christ. They bring compassion & love & messages of God when they come & it has been wonderful to see how the Haitian people have turned about in their thinking.I am so proud of our church,we have mission teams who have been there during this & even before this happenned & will continue to go.But I felt pride for our country stepping up to help those people,I thought my heart would burst with happiness As he spoke.

The LORD does move in mysterious ways. We must continue to pray for these precious people who will have to endure the rainy season! Here is a blog site that has a Haitian pastor and some of his stories and the stories of the gal trying to start an orphanage there....
