Baby robin? & Unknown bird

I`m starting to wonder if this is really a baby robin. He looks full grown now & still has speckles.
Here is another pic of the unknown bird.I pledge I will get a better photo this week, there are 2 of them.Their wings look like a mockingbirds in flight,& at the feeder they "backstep"through the seedsThe orange slices I just put out are gone,so I looked up baby orioles...I guess I`ll have to wait to see if they change colors.
Mr. & Mrs.Cardinal had babies & I say the Mrs`s is looking like she is in molt & about to lay more eggs.

Great photos Phyllis! That's some good backyard action. Those babies are visiting the feeders now and it can get interesting trying to make the ID's but I think your right on that Robin!

The first bird looks like a juvenile Robin, but I don't know about the second one. Nice post showing all the young ones around!

Great captures Phyllis! I think your robin is a robin also. They will probably keep their juvenile plumage until early fall. I find the best way to ID those youngsters is to see who is feeding them ;-) Unless you have Brown-headed Cowbirds of course.

I hope your Northern Cardinals get through their molt soon. They look pretty scruffy.
