Unknown Bird
While birdwatching today,this bird came to the feeder,& I don`t know what it is.He is the size of a robin.
It's always fun to see something new, isn't it? Your newcomer kind of looks like a female blue grosbeak, but I can't be sure....Let us know when you find out!
I thought grosbeak too,a hint of red there on his feathers.They usually don`t pass through here till Sept.-May & Sept.I haven`t seen the bird since.phyllis

Hmmm, it looks like a grosbeak of some sort to me.
