Carolina Wren for World Bird Wed.

My bird offering this week is our carolina wren,Thryothorus ludovicianus. They have been singing & singing. At first I only heard the one calling, this caused me to worry & worry as there was no answering call. After awhile I heard the mate, way, way down in the woods while the other was at the feeder & searching the sky.I finally got them both together, not a good picture, but I was relieved to see the pair is alright. The hawk is still hunting here, more quietly,my son saw him,I did not.He said that he is a huge red-tailed hawk.
So,follow this link to the Springman`s blog to show us what you have at your feeder today.http://pineriverreview.blogspot.com/

we just recently started filling our bird and squirrel feeders again to help our little feathered and furry friends cope with the long harsh winters here in Canada, I have resolved to catch what visits with my camera this year. Saw a majestic snowy owl this morning, unfortunately I was driving and could not take a photo, I will get a pic if it's the last thing I do.

great photo's thank you for sharing
