UFO`s

My 59 year old brother-in-law won`t see 60,he is dying & we are preparing ourselves for another death in the family.I can`t tell you how hard it is to see him this way. After being with him once again today, the end is so very near now.It has me thinking about ,oddly enough , unfinished things that need done.
I went upstairs & brought down this unfinished block of the month quilt I started years ago.It is called By Wisdom a House is Built,by Sarah Sporrer.I plan to keep it on my kitchen table as an incentive to keep plugging at it.Pumpkin thinks it`s very comfy,& has dibs on it already as his own personal blankie.
I had to take my pics indoors today,so they are not very good,it has been raining here in Pa,we are to get a snowstorm tomorrow. Can you believe it?

Phyllis! I LOVE your work! Tell me why it has taken so long for us to be shown your talent with cloth??!! I know you have many talents---but I'm just loving to see your fabric designs. Just lovely.
Hope all is well down there. And I'm so sorry you are going through another hard time in the family. Prayers...
Love, Debra

It`s been sad as I haven`t devoted much time to cloth dolls & quilts lately, being tied up with fiber.I took most of the fiber to a mill to be carded,I just couldn`t catch up,so now I`ll occupy myself in spinning & sewing till it gets done.
I`m working on the July block, a house divided cannot stand,Matt.12:25,have some of it cut out....love,phyllis

I love your quilt blocks! I'm so sorry about your brother-in-law. That must be incredibly hard for all of you. I've been thinking of shipping off some fiber to have it processed too as it's stacking up....

I don`t believe I`ve ever had to delete a comment,so don`t know how to handle the above person...I don`t believe that many people read this blog to be using it for such advertising....
