World Bird Wed.

I have not been participating in world bird Wed.lately, have a little too much to cope with in my life right now.I have a little time this am to place my pictures in the group.
They are the usual birds in my woods & yard.Have you noticed that the robin`s breast seems so much redder this year?
This nuthatch`s coloring is lighter than the others who feed off the suet.
The red-bellied has a nice hole made in the electrical pole at the top.
The brown thrashers are feeding their babies now.The finches have nested on top of the grape arbor, sure to have the first bite of the concords.
And this little chipmunk is in the chokecherry trees,I grabbed my camera thinking it was some sort of new bird,& had to laugh as he manuvered his way into the branches of the trees. They must be tasty to climb that far into the tree.
So,go visit the springman`s blog & upload your bird pictures for this Wed.The link ishttp://pineriverreview.blogspot.com/

Nice captures of your backyard birds!
My favorite is the red-bellied.
Hope your day is going well!

Nice to have so many species visiting and nesting in your yard Phyllis! The Thrashers are my favorite.

Sounds like you are making many birds happy in your backyard. I have never seen a brown thrasher at my feeders so wonder what you are feeding it!
