Today is the last day at age 57

Tomorrow I turn 58,wow,made it this far,now I`m really old.
I still remember my grandmother telling me my story. My mother was lying in the hospital giving birth to me,& my great-grandmother laid miles away in another hospital ,dying. My great grandmother asked the others at her beside, how is Edie & the baby girl? They told her that my mother had not given birth yet. But,in reality, she had.How she knew this,we don`t know, hours later then, she passed on to heaven.
Tomorrow we celebrate at a crab feed-yum,yum!
Baby hummingbirds everywhere now,& butterflies are just beginning to get their wings here, lots of them.

What a special story and memory of the day you were born--Thank-you for sharing it!! I do hope your day is an enjoyable one, with all your favorite things!!

PS: Even though I'm not 58, I don't think it's old! :-)
