Livestock auction

I went with Cathleen & Brady to my first livestock auction.I did not get alot of pictures,it was fast paced, however I did get these adorable goats .The animals went to next to nothing except for a pair of turkeys who went for $25 each,& some fancy roosters up over $7.I had to restrain myself with the bunnies,I do not need more, going for 50 cents-$2.They had chickens, pigeons, ducks, geese, guenies, quail, potbellied pigs ,I was glad Richie didn`t go along,I would have had to fight with him about getting the pigs,$7 each.I had to restrain myself over the little baby ducks/geese,not sure what they were, only that they were adorable.Cathleen asked me what would I do with them,I said, stick them in the bathtub till I fixed a place for them, lol,my husband would then agree that I had gone completely nuts.
I did bring home a pie & the best homemade cream filled donuts ever...

I think I would have had the same kind of reaction to the auction that you did--Except I doubt I would have been able to NOT bid on something cute and fluffy to bring home! :-)

You must have a lot of land to even consider buying farm animals. I'm sure it is hard to hold back once you get started on buying.

You got goats???!!! Wow. They are cute, but they just look like they are full of mischief! Good luck with the cuties.

I could not have resisted. I made a promise to my husband to avoid any kind of animal auctions...
