The Harley Hearse

I`m finally getting SOME thank-you cards out in the mail. Thank-you,Debra,at Sparrowgrass, for the kindness & love you have shown me over the years. I put a picture in the mail for you of the Harley hearse.

Thank-you ,all ,for the prayers & support during this time . I still can`t believe he is gone from my sight. He still lives ,though, I feel his spirit all the time.

Of course, this had to be put on facebook as soon as we saw it,so it may be old news to some readers.

I never knew that there was something so special as this for him to be taken to the graveyard in. His friends from work said he talked about this hearse, but we never knew about it, our son just happened to see it on the papers we were going through ,it was actually cheaper to send him out in this. He had been working on making his Harley into a trike before he lost his strength ,well, Tink made it happen for him after Rich bought the kit & needed help & advice. He did ride his trike a couple of times before he became so tired & sick.

So, here`s a few pics ,If I knew how to upload the 15 min.video my brother put together of him & I during our years together ,I would, it is set to Neil Young & Bob Dylan`s songs, people were outright crying. At the end of the slideshow , my brother stopped the music at the last 2 pics , the first last one was of Chloe laying on his head , he was so sick  & the last was of him with a smile on his face ,feet too swollen to get his boots on , driving out in his trike.

Well, this is as far as I got with this post, perhaps tomorrow I`ll get more on...

driver on left,passer-by on left, note the spur the driver has in his hand,he presented to be afterwards,I was so touched

What a wonderful and appropriate send off for your husband. Hope you are doing okay. I know it has to be rough for you right now.
