Wild Bird Wed.

During this year of 2014, I had this Indigo Bunting come to my bird feeder in May. I`ve seen them in the woods afterwards in the summer, but in the spring is when I can "sometimes" catch them at the feeder.
Today is share your wild birds with Stewart at this link http://paying-ready-attention-gallery.blogspot.com/
the links at times won`t work for me, can`t get it to work this evening....I suppose you can google Wild Bird Wed. & get to Stewart that way, or go to an older post, maybe it will magically work now since I reported it.

Colourful Indigo Buntings are such special birds to me since most of our buntings are mainly brown- exception Yellowhammer.

Is that a Downy on the table too?

What a beautiful colour!! I've never seen one. The only blue coloured birds I've seen are blue jays and the larger Stellars jay out west.

What a great bird! I'f love to see one.

When I have a look at the link to WBW there seems to be an extra '%C2%A0' at the end of the hyperlink - I think this is why it may not be working.

Cheers - and I hope you are having a good New Year - Stewart M - Melbourne

I wonder how a new year song sounds like through the mouth of a bird?
