I`m discouraged with the garden again this year. The rabbits have been at it & now my roses & coneflowers, hollyhocks. My dh came up with the idea of getting a fox decoy. Can`t the bunnies see he has no legs?!I have to move him about every day.
Well,a light bulb went off in my head after searching the internet.Dried organic blood you can get it from your garden supply store..That`s what we used years ago & I had completely forgot about it.So now we`ll see if this works,I`m sure it will.

I think the fox decoy is so lifelike !
As a matter of fact I had to stare at the pictures several times, just to make sure it WAS a decoy.
I've heard of scattering urine and blood from predators around the garden helps deter pests, it would me

Hi Phyllis! I feel sorry for your granddaughter being afraid of your little fox because when I was about 4 my aunt mailed me a wooden movable snake, and I screamed and ran. You could not convince me it wasn't real! I can still feel my trama 50+ years later! I try to remember this with me 6 grandchildren who 5 are preschoolers!

I had her touch it to see it wasn`t real & told her why I had to do this. She still jumps when we go by the garden, but I don`t think she`ll be tramitised over it,I hope not!phylliso
